The ‘One Hour’ in our company name indicates our guarantee to be at your home in the predetermined window quoted when you set your appointment. If we do not show up within that window, your service call fee is waived.
1. Express Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified one-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this one-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home.
2. Reserved Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified, two-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this two-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home.
3. Standard Appointment: This is an appointment that is scheduled during a specified four-hour time slot. You are promised that a technician will arrive at your home within this four-hour time window. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home.
4. Stand-By Appointment: This appointment is for overflow situations. This appointment will not have a specified time. You will receive a call when the technician is en route to your home.
5. Emergency Appointment: This appointment is for an unspecified time after normal business hours Monday – Saturday and all day on Sundays/Holidays. Calls are dispatched in the same order they are received. You will also receive a call when the technician is en route to your home.

Peter Sanchez5 StarOne hour AC has come to our rescue twice now. They are the most prompt and punctual service i have ever used. When they say they will be there, they mean it. Their service techs are courteous, polite, and very professional. These guys know their stuff! Even the people answering your calls are great. This is an old school customer driven business that really appreciates their clients. I had a blown fan motor today and their tech Robert worked under pouring rain to it get it fixed. I was so happy i am now on their service plan because honestly I will not call anyone else. If your AC is down call One Hour! You will not be disappointed.Friday 31st May 2024

I still think Elton did a great job...but after less than 2 months, the EXACT same problem (blower motor sounding like a 747 taking off) happened. When I called to schedule another visit, I was told that the tech would "see if it's a warranty issue" and if not, would charge me for the visit. So I spent extra money on their monthly service protection AND paid almost $1,000 for a new blower motor (that was under OEM warranty) and the same problem comes up within 2 months. And they treat me like I'm lying? I get it...welcome to Florida, the scam capital of the world. But that is a 2 way street and a business that sets themselves up to take advantage of the consumer ("no, that's not the same problems...") is not good.
I schedule the tech visit for a week later (due to work travel) and the window of time they gave me was today (Nov 15) from 4-6pm. It's now 5:56pm and I just had a heated call from a rep who told me they have to reschedule for tomorrow because the "tech is stuck on another job" and "it's raining". I've had this on the calendar for a week...I'm out of town tomorrow. And when I said "your schedule problems are not my fault", the rep immediately jumped down my throat.
So they sold me a bad product for a premium price. Their name is ONE HOUR Air Conditioning. They take money from me every month for a "maintenance plan". And they clearly don't care about MY schedule. This rep didn't even ask when I would be available! She just threw "tomorrow morning" in my face, like I can sit around eating bonbons all day waiting for more bad service. Whomever this woman was, she needs to learn the most important skill in sales...LISTENING. Wow...I hope they pull the recording from the call and use it for training (and give her a gold star for skill at triggering upset customers).
They've managed to work their way down to 1 star and a potential lawsuit for breach of contract (warranty) and failure to provide their promised services.
Also, this rep clearly didn't want me to be thinking about their promise (on their website): "At One Hour we understand that your time is valuable, so we promise to arrive at your home within the time window that you select. If our technician does not show up at your home on time, you do not pay for the service." HAHAHA right.
The true measure of a good company is how they serve you AFTER they take your money. Not feeling the love.
Initial Review:
Elton was my tech from One Hour AC and Heating. He offered superior, friendly, expert service. From the shoe-booties for keep carpet clean, to the uniform, to the branded truck, everything seemed reliable and reputable. Turns out my unit was still under warranty (parts only), so that also helped ease the pain. Elton found the parts, left to get them, and came right back and finished the service. With my AC unit fixed quickly, and with a warranty on the new parts, I'll be able to stay calm and carry on (which is important because I mostly work from home).Wednesday 15th November 2023
